Vacuum induction melting furnace (VIM) is a complete set of vacuum smelting equipment which melts metal under vacuum condition ,using the principle of medium frequency induction heating.
VIM is suitable for nickel-based alloy, special steel, precision alloy,neodymium iron boron, dysprosium metal, active metal, high temperature alloy, special materials, magnetic materials in vacuum or protective atmosphere for melting and casting.
This process can be used to refine high purity metals and alloys.The furnaces divided into two types: vertical and horizontal.
