    • Applications:
    • Horizontal continuous casting is a process for producing copper-clad steel/zinc-clad steel. In addition to electroplating method, casing cladding method. Electroplating method is to soak the steel core in the electroplating solution, through the direct current to cover copper or zinc on the surface of the steel core, the production process will produce a lot of wastewater containing heavy metal ions and corrosive gases, which is not conducive to environmental protection. This plating process will lead to uneven coating, and because the residual plating solution on the surface of the steel core is easy to bulge at high temperatures, it will lead to poor binding force of the two metals. The casing cladding method is to put the copper tube on the steel core, and make the copper tube on the steel core through the mold and pull. This process has poor binding force and poor mechanical properties.
      Horizontal continuous casting method is the two metals at high temperature, through the hot atom shock extrusion together, resulting in bimetallic interface is completely firmly combined, so as to achieve ductile metallurgical welding between copper and steel, become a single composite metal body, and belong to the molecular combination, so the adhesion is high, can be arbitrarily drawn.   • Features and Advantages:
  • 1.Front winding machine: to realize the winding of steel core, automatic speed regulation.
  • 2.Straightening machine: It is used to straighten the steel core after unwinding. In order to ensure that the core rod can pass through the mold assembly smoothly during continuous casting, it is required to achieve high precision straightening of the steel core. Through high precision straightening roller and special structure design, can be efficient online straightening, improve the production efficiency and product quality.
  • 3.Preheating furnace: The treated steel core is heated, which is conducive to the combination of copper and steel metallurgical molecules to become a single complex. The preheating furnace is equipped with a nitrogen protection device to avoid oxidation of the steel core during high temperature heating.
  • 4.Positioning feeder: This machine does not have power, only provides high-precision positioning. It is used for stable feed of steel core to meet the concentricity requirements of crystallizer assembly for feed.
  • 5.Holding and continuous casting furnace with crystallizer assembly: The holding furnace is equipped with two sets of crystallizer assembly, the treated steel core is entered through the front crystallizer assembly, and the high purity copper/zinc liquid in the holding furnace is coated with the steel core. The thickness of the copper/zinc layer is controlled by the rear crystallizer assembly and cooled for crystallization. The crystallizer assembly designed by our company for the characteristics of copper/zinc clad steel can achieve better crystallization results.
  • 6.Traction machine: This machine provides traction power from the steel core to the finished coated bar. The traction system can achieve high rigidity, high precision and micro-clearance transmission. The speed of continuous casting can be adjusted, and the speed and frequency of continuous casting can be accurately controlled.
  • 7.Post-winding machine: to achieve the winding of copper/zinc clad steel products, automatic speed regulation.
